Lenny serves as the official mascot for the PTWQP. Lenny promotes ways to prevent stormwater pollution. Lenny The Lifeguard was born on Earth Day in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. He has been involved in water quality since he was a tadpole in Happy Day Pond. Lenny has made it his top priority to educate the public about ways to protect our streams, rivers and lakes through our daily activities.

Lenny likes clean water, life guarding, swimming, long walks on clean creek banks, educating the public, and making new friends.
